I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Kokura! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with more space than the average in Japan. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, especially a helpful staff member named 下妻. She efficiently solved our problems and even found our lost phone! The location was great for exploring traditional markets and the castle, despite being a bit of a walk. I highly recommend this hotel.

the cleanliness and the comfortable bed made my stay really enjoyable. I was also impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff, who were professional and highly helpful.
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the traditional markets, and although it's a bit of a walk to the castle and park, it is still manageable, even at a relaxed pace. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like!

The hotel is conveniently located very near the main train station and right in the center of a lively area filled with restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and some of the staff members are very helpful and speak good English. Guests can enjoy various facilities including laundry on site, a small massage business, and a good breakfast.
Guests may find the staff's style at reception to be impersonal and there may not be any child extras provided by the hotel, such as baby cots.

Spent my Christmas Eve at this hotel and it was amazing! Loved the modern and stylish design of the hotel. Room was well designed and cozy. They even had a massage chair which was a great touch. The location was perfect with a short walk to the station and plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast served at their restaurant was delicious, definitely a must-try! The bathroom had a separate tub and shower which was great for relaxing after a long day.
The size of the room, which was a bit small. We had trouble opening up our luggage and ended up leaving one in the narrow corridor area.
